Should note here that the ISO 639-3 code for Konkani is kok, not kon (kon is the 3-letter code for Kongo, which has two-letter code kg). In any case, gom is the code that Konkani Wikipedia uses, so Google Translate only using gom shouldn't be an issue.

Tested the tool and it is working properly again, so I am closing this task as resolved.

Tested it now, and the tool does seem to work if you input something in the search box, but in the past, the tool would give broad suggestions if there was nothing in the search box, and it's not doing that anymore.

The ProofreadPage extension is mostly translated already (at least enough for approval). As I stated on your talk page at Multilingual Wikisource, yes, it would appear that the conditions for approval have in fact been met. The complete translation of all of MediaWiki is not absolutely required for approval; it is just the most used messages that are required in general, and the ProofreadPage extension for Wikisource.
