Thanks for the information. After a second look at the nslookup results, it seems that the address IP mapped to the domain name is a private one...

Also had a similar problem when trying to run some scripts today. The error is sporadic and popped up in one every 10-15 page changes.
Fortunately the scripts do not fail.

Same here. Reproduced with version pywikibot-2.0rc3 and pywikibot-2.0rc4, KeyErrors everywhere.

Oops my mistake for the wrong link to commit... It is now fixed.
Sorry for having been so vague about that issue in my previous message. I just meant that when trying to install the latest version from
https://git.wikimedia.org/git/pywikibot/core.git
with
sudo python setup.py install
I get the following error:

Codes at the repository seems to be quite messy right now... 5 tries to get a version that can be successfully installed is too many...
