It seems that https://tools.wmflabs.org/lp-tools/wlm-maps/ is the same/similar project ? It definitely has the same problem though.
This is the original project. The version on mapillary-commons is an experiment to integrate nearby mapillary images on the wlm-map. But this seems to be broken.
Anyhow the following are now fixed.
It's worth noting that https://tools.wmflabs.org/mapillary-commons/wlm-maps/ also communicates with mapillary.com... but that is sort of the whole point.
@Lokal_Profil BTW. i note it also uses nominatim for geocoding. I created T189879: Set up a Nominatim instance to avoid geocode lookups with Google and/or OSM from tools on that front, you might want to subscribe. Time to centrally fix some of this stuff... some day.. i hope.. :)
