On meta, partial blocks are being discussed. Once the feature will be live, I guess we'll want to implement it in AbuseFilter, i.e. expand the 'block' feature with partial blocks, basically copying the changes to Special:Block. Also, we should probably discuss a couple of things, like:
- Do we want to differentiate block options for anonymous and registered users, or just keep the duration customizable in this sense?
- Do we want to add all the new features, or just few of them? If so, which ones?
