What is the problem?

Wikifunctions will be a new Wikimedia project starting this year. All of our projects have a number of essential pages (think Village Pump, Intro, Admin voting, What X is not, etc.) and it would be good to have these set up here too.

How can we help you?

This is mostly a task for the community, but it would be good to keep an eye on it whether it happens, and to keep a list of what is particularly useful.

Create a list of core rules that must be present as Wikimedia projects.

Create a list of core pages that should be present.

What does success look like?

A thriving wiki with a growing community.

What is your deadline?

The first two months after launch of Wikifunctions, i.e. likely in the summer.

Subtasks

• Create basic technical documentation pages (See attached subtasks)
• Import pages from meta-wiki - done by volunteers via upload import (There were problems with the new serverside import-script)
• Copy across pages from beta-wikifunctions - Quiddity
• Share listing of recommended pages that the community should begin creating & considering - Quiddity -
