The name of some entities, like universities, change over time. We have https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Property:P1448 (official name) together with start and end time to indicate that. But when you use the item as a value, the label is always displayed.

I would like to see the name of the entity around that time instead. By looking at the start and end time of a statement, the matching official name should be used.
