Subcategory/article count

Is it possible to get a subcategory/article count (depending on the mode)? Otherwise I'm stuck with trying to do it with Dynamic Page List ( http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Dynamic_Page_List ), which I've done it with but it doesn't have the javascript branching that CategoryTree does...

More suggestions for options

• Use images for the "[+]"/"[-]" text controls (easier to click since the brackets don't work)
• Display bullets for pages
• Remember opened/closed branches (via cookie?)
