Description:
When I have finished editing a page and would like to see a preview, if I push "alt-shift-p" (as one would do in Firefox 2.x), instead of seeing the preview page, I am sent to the library of Windows Media Player. I haven't seen a previous bug for this but I have had this problem for a while. I have a Win '98, but their is no problem there. Are their any people who have had the same problem?

Alt + Shift + P is the keyboard shortcut to "Restore the Player from mini Player mode". I assume that you have Windows Media Player in mini-mode while browsing, and it's intercepting the key combination.

You can configure Firefox to invoke shortcuts when Alt alone is pressed, rather than Alt + Shift; this may work around the problem. Open Firefox and enter "about:config" in the address bar. Enter "ui.key.contentAccess" into the Filter field, double-click on the displayed preference entry and change its value to "4". "Show Preview" will then be Alt + P, and so forth.

Anyway, this isn't a MediaWiki bug, as presumably it affects any website that employs the same key combination.
