In the sample page, http://krefeldwiki.de/wiki/Herbst_Pitt , there is the same geo location attributed twice:
- using a decimal point in the " value (in the box at the right)
- using a comma as a decimal point in the " value (in the other right box)
- (not as a semantc attribute, at the end of the article)
The wiki language is German, which per its locale usually uses "," not "." as the decimal point. (Nonwithstanding, there is a not too small number of Germans who customarily use ".")
Nevertheless, when looking at the page, the attribute list, and the attribute page, one finds inconsitently either of the attributes functioning.
Since there is also the choice to ?uselang= something else, I suggest to allow both "," and "." in the coordinate values and treat them identically, so as to be as flexible as possible without unneccessaily limiting editors, and without creating ambiguities.
