@Teles please check your inbox, i ran this command on the server:
@fermium:/var/lib/mailman/bin# ./change_pw -l oversight-wp-pt -p ....
it then told me "New oversight-wp-pt password: ..." and i did _not_ use the -q (quiet) option, that should mean it has mailed the list owner address
