Author: bugs
Description:
To make it easy to see at a glance what changes have occurred to pages that you have modified recently:
- Have a "hide unchanged" option, so only contributions that have since been modified are shown. (ie, any contribution currently marked "(top)" would not be shown at all
- Have a "changes since" link (regardless of above option) which would link to the diff between your most recent change and the current page.
Justification: Rather than use the 'watches' page, I tend to just be interested in any page I've edited "recently". I scan the contributions page looking for non-"top" contributions. Then, to see what change has been made, I have to click "hist" then manually select the range from my change to current. These suggestions would streamline this process.
Benefits:
- Easy to see how other people have responded to change, more of a community feel
- Much greater chance of actually seeing people reply to your comments on talk pages
Disadvantages:
- Gives control freaks another tool. But they probably already have plenty :)
