Unlike on ENWP, we are still suffering from the yellowness of Special:Newpages on JAWP.
Please make newpage patrolling available to auto-confirmed users on JAWP as on ENWP (bug:12007).

I have pushed the change to allow patrolling for autoconfirmed users on jawiki. This is currently live. Please let me know if there are any issues or concerns.
