A colleague using our office MediaWiki was confused by doing "preview" on a redirect - rather than the page you get when you view a redirect page (with the redirect arrow then the name of the page it'll go to), he saw "1. REDIRECT [[pagename]]" - which is of course how #REDIRECT [[pagename]] renders. This broke expectations and he thought he was doing it wrong.
So: if an edit will make a page into a redirect, display it in preview how it would look in the saved page - with the redirection arrow followed by the target page name.
I wasn't sure of the category for this bug, but put it in "page editing" because it's a discrepancy between the preview and the saved page.
