In fact, it shouldn't be capable of overwriting at all, although I'd welcome that feature.. I searched, but couldn't find an open task.

PlanespotterA320 uploaded the file on 21:21, 23 June 2018 "User created page with UploadWizard".

On 18:20, 22 November 2018, PlanespotterA320 has overwritten it "User created page with UploadWizard". I tried to do it myself, but couldn't. See also https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Yann#Accidental_overwrite_with_the_uploadwizard :
