I am an extended confirmed user but my edits are no longer automatically accepted by the pending changes protection tool
Closed, DuplicatePublic

Description

I am an extended confirmed user of Wikipedia and my edits were always automatically accepted by the pending changes protection tool. From yesterday, they have not been, across multiple pages. I am treated as a new or unregistered user so my edits must be reviewed. I can still edit pages with extended protection or extended confirmed protection. Here is a list of pages protected by the tool [[Category:Wikipedia_pending_changes_protected_pages]] There was a recent reversion from a subsequent edit to one of mine on [[Michael Rosen]]; perhaps that has some bearing. It has also been suggested that {T233561: Pending changes: autoreview randomly fails} is relevant. I am not sure if I have chosen the correct tabg I use Wikipedia on a desktop with Microsoft Windows and Chrome.

Hi @Jontel, thanks for taking the time to report this and welcome to Wikimedia Phabricator! For future reference, please follow the structure described in https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug - thanks.
I f I understand correctly, this is reported in T273317: some users with access are unable to configure pending changes so I'm merging this task. Thanks!
