running bot on pages with {{nobots}} template causes visible edit of this page (no flag, visible on RC, change of size).

touch intentionally ignores such restrictions (force=True) since it shouldn't be making edits.

As you've already been told, you can hide the edits from RC by using -botflag.

I recommend purging (-purge -forcelinkupdate) instead of null edits.
