I agree, this would be helpful (although not high priority). Especially useful when
tracking users discovered to be uploading copyrighted material, or when trying to
put image copyright tags on many images uploaded by a single user.
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Database_queries#Images for existing SQL
queries that do this.

All images by a given contributor (only current version) from the page linked in
the url seems to offer what is wanted but sql can only be run by admins :(
and yes the main reason is checking tagging of other images by a user after
getting one bad one

Patch to allow namespace selection on user contribs page
This patch allows the restriction of user contributions to a specific
namespace. If you choose the "Image" namespace, it will show you all the
uploads and image comments made, which should do the trick for this bug.

One catch: when someone uploads a new version of an image that already
exists, the wiki doesn't update the image description page, so it won't turn up in
these results.
All uploads should turn up in a Special:Log search on username, though (1.4
only).

Well, I've applied the patch to CVS, between this and the Special:Log
searchability, it should do what is required. I'm marking it off as fixed.
