I'm volunteering to assist in maintaining the Ruby mediawiki API gem, as it's fallen into a near abandoned state.

This left it locking to dependencies that were so old, it was a poison pill to projects, further lowering its usage.

In addition there are numerous improvements that could be made (top of mind is better cmcontinue handling...)
