The Sloan Foundation, which is a big WMF funder, has asked if Wikimedia has an update on the 2020 numbers around pageviews, edits, etc. that we published about Covid-19-related articles
What are the details of your request? Include relevant timelines or deadlines
Some time at the end of 2020 or early 2021, the Wikimedia Foundation published an account of Wikipedia's Covid-19 articles that noted a host of numbers -- including number of articles (6,950), languages of those articles (188), edits (983,395), editors (97,088), and pageviews (579,190,316). The numbers applied to Wikipedia articles from December 1, 2019 - December 8, 2020. I'd love to get that same batch of numbers over the entirety of 2021, too. I'm trying to get any updated numbers to Sloan by Friday, May 13, 2022
