Only 5 identical templates for a page allowed
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Author: mvv73

Description:
At the moment it is not possible to have 6 or more identical templates on one page. Just try to insert
stub 6 times in Wikipedia:Sandbox and you will see it. For sure we need only one stub for a
page but sometimes we need to use one template several times on one page and it is not possible now :(

If there is no sense to fix this problem for Wikipedia web sites - please tell

me what shall I change to change

it at my installation - I use Wikipedia for project documentation and use

template bug_number for

references to bugzilla bug entries.

BTW, you might want to look at meta:Names (the terms "Wikipedia",
"Wikimedia", and "MediaWiki" are NOT interchangeable; please use them with care)
and also meta:Help:Interwiki linking (you might find an interwiki for
bugzilla entries, allowing you to use Bug:123, would do the trick for your
particular use).
