Add search bar in queue
Closed, ResolvedPublic

IMPORTANT: Make sure to read the Outreachy participant instructions and communication guidelines thoroughly before commenting on this task. This space is for project-specific questions, so avoid asking questions about getting started, setting up Gerrit, etc. When in doubt, ask your question on Zulip first!

This is a microtask for T346386: Integrate Wikimedia Ecosystem within BUB2 tool.

Currently, there is no search bar implemented in the queue. If a user wants to search for a particular job id or book, s/he has to skim through the entire table and search for the respective book or job. Implementing a search bar on the queue which helps in search by name or job id will help the users search for a particular book faster.

@Sujith116: Hi! How is it going? Do you still plan to work on this task, or do you need any help?

@Sujith116: I am resetting the assignee of this task because there has not been progress lately (please correct me if I am wrong!). Resetting the assignee avoids the impression that somebody is already working on this task. It also allows others to potentially work towards fixing this task. Please claim this task again when you plan to work on it (via Add Action...Assign / Claim in the dropdown menu) - it would be welcome. Thanks for your understanding!

Currently WIP PR: #172

To be discussed:

  • What happens when I click "Search"
  • Are the stylings ok, and follow wiki-codex rules?
  • Is the positioning of the search bar appropriate?

How it looks like?
