NuclearMoose, a user at http://codex.wordpress.org used the setting User
Preferences-> Editing -> Show preview on first edit and received edit conflicts
sporadically (about 75% of the time) while editing pages, after he did this.
Deselecting this preference led to the edit conflicts vanishing.
I am filing this bug on his behalf, since I thought it better to let you all know.
