We realized that the enable domain matching for identities on your dashboard is not enabled, so we wanted to ask you if you want to enable it or not. Enabling this option means that the individuals having known email domains will be automatically affiliated to the company related to those email domains (e.g., someone with a wikimedia.org email would be automatically enrolled to Wikimedia Foundation).

With a future Hatstall version, there will be Jobs to run and Recommendations to merge (and an option to lock identities so they won't get merged). There was a sneak preview at ChaossCon (T327890: Attend CHAOSSCon 2023 (Feb 2023; Bitergia)).
IMO we should wait with exploring domain matching until its clearer which implications this will have && until this future Hatstall version is deployed.
Future Hatstall version has been deployed two months ago, so we could have another discussion about this (but maybe it's already enabled? Should likely check on an identity defined by activity on a mailing list or Gerrit where email addresses get indexed).
