cannot append "?useskin=vector" to "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockwood_%26_Co._%28TV_series%29" (due to NoScript browser extension)
Closed, InvalidPublicBUG REPORT

Description

When I try appending

?useskin=vector

to the Wikipedia URL

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockwood_%26_Co._%28TV_series%29

or

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockwood_&_Co._(TV_series)

it redirects to URL

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockwood_&_Co._%20TV_series%20?useskin=vector#926991815450209430

changing parentheses to spaces causing the URL to fail, and appending a pound and some apparently long variable random number. If I then manually edit the spaces back to parenthesis codes %28 %29 while leaving the #N...N untouched then it works, but if I scrape off the #N...N then it fails again. Doesn't work with parenthesis characters ( ).

At least on Firefox.

Thanks & apologies! Your result led me to trace the behavior to the NoScript! Firefox extension "Sanitize cross-site suspicious requests" feature. I will try to close this.
