Description

I am logging out of my account
Someone on Russian Wikipedia writes a message on the talk page of my IP address

I receive a "You have a new talk page message" notification which cannot be hidden. This notification remains visible even after I went to the talk page and read the message. Neither clearing cookies nor changing browser helps.

Tested with different IPs and different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge).
