Description (read the best practices and include a sentence understandable to the public and without "This project is for tracking work related to..." noise, plus a link to further information!):
Lingua Libre is an external tool to record and upload audio pronunciation files to Wikimedia Commons.
Lingua Libre is currently undergoing a technical rework, with most of its codebase being rewritten from scratch.
The "current" project, Lingua-Libre-Legacy, has been renamed to "Lingua Libre - Legacy", as once the rework is over, most things covered by this tag will become irrelevant and/or decommissioned.
@Aklapper kindly suggested me to proceed this way - rename the existing to Legacy and ask for a brand new "Lingua Libre" project to be created, which will cover tasks for the technical rework. And then, close/archive the Legacy project once the rework is over and officially deployed.
Canonical code repository URL of the project (if this project has a code base):
https://gitlab.wikimedia.org/repos/wikimedia-france/lingua-libre
(Does a Gitlab project/group work for this?)
