Reset 2FA for Phabricator account @Dringsim
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Phab username: @Dringsim
I would need to reset the multi-factor authentication for my Phabricator account because I've lost access to my Authy (my 2FA app) account (unable to receive SMS/phone call from Authy).
My committed identity can be found on https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:沈澄心 (used since https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:沈澄心&diff=prev&oldid=25058668 ). I also have a PGP key used to sign git commits ( https://github.com/wikimedia/mediawiki/commits?author=Dringsim ; GPG key ID: 7C5B1DFB8E73902C).

Dringsim added a project: Trust-and-Safety.

Sent an email to ca@wikimedia.org.

@Dringsim: Hi, sorry for the late reply. I think ca@ is not involved in this.
Could you please paste the phrase of your committed identity hash into P58903 which is a Paste only visible to you and me? Thanks!
After that, I could follow the steps on https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Phabricator#Removing_Two_Factor_Authentication

Aklapper claimed this task.
Aklapper removed a project: Trust-and-Safety.

Running cat P58903 | sha512sum produced the correct SHA-512 commitment, so I've stripped 2FA from your Phabricator account.
You can use https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/settings/panel/multifactor/ to set it up again. Thanks!
