Hi, again brief disclaimer that I'm unexperienced in this project. Megleno-Romanian (language code "ruq") appears in MediaWiki's code with three alphabet variants, "ruq-cyrl" (Megleno-Romanian in Cyrillic), "ruq-latn" (in the Latin alphabet) and "ruq-grek" (in the Greek alphabet). It also appears simply as "ruq", we have four entries for Megleno-Romanian. The Megleno-Romanians are a people related to the Romanians speaking a similar language. They are geographically split between North Macedonia and Greece. Each of these use one of the three alphabets mentioned above. I imagine that someone, I don't know how long ago, must've seen this and think this means they might be using three alphabets or that it is simply better to allow them to use them all just in case. However, Megleno-Romanian is written uniquely in the Latin alphabet. You can see the alphabet of the language on page 4, below the word "ALFABETUL". As you can see, they're all Latin letters.

I want to mention that a close relative of Megleno-Romanian is the Aromanian language, spoken in Greece, North Macedonia, Albania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Romania. Countries with a total of three different alphabets, however in MediaWiki we only have "roa-rup" (or "rup") for Aromanian, because it's also only written in the Latin alphabet.

Thus I propose that "ruq-cyrl", "ruq-grek" as well as the superfluous and synonymous "ruq-latn" be dropped and that Megleno-Romanian be only included in MediaWiki through the already existing "ruq".

Side proposal: On my last task (https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T343922), I requested that Istro-Romanian ("ruo") be added to MediaWiki, which it was, thanks for that. I see however that the hyphen is missing from the code, thus it's actually showing up as "Istro Romanian" rather than "Istro-Romanian". Since Megleno-Romanian is allowed to have the hyphen in the code, could this also be changed along with my other proposal? Thanks in advance.
