In preparation for magru, we should reimage at least one of each of the Traffic hosts to avoid surprises when we are setting up magru and have to move quickly. In the past as well, we have observed unexpected behaviour because of package management, Puppet changes, reimaging issues related to hardware, etc. A more recent example is when we were trying to reimage an lvs host as part of regular maintenance work, we discovered that the Pybal package was uploaded incorrectly (to main instead of component). Thus a reimage check is critical before we get ready for magru.

Before April, we should make sure we have tested the reimaging and there are no issues.
