Navigation bar on Wikibooks misses "Community portal"
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

Author: andreas.ipp

Description:
On the English version of Wikibooks http://en.wikibooks.org in the left
navigation bar, the standard "Community portal" had been replaced by
"Wikiversity" to promote that sub-project. Now that wikiversity.org has been
registered and wikiversity could in principle move to en.wikiversity.org (like
the German version already did - see de.wikiversity.org), the link could be
reverted to "Community portal". Growing steadily, Wikibooks is more and more in
need of a community portal.

If this does not qualify as a bug, the following does surely:

  • The tooltip of "Wikiversity" says: "About the project, what you can do, where

to find things"

  • The tooltip for "Study help desk" says: "Find background information on

current events".

Both descriptions are wrong, and I would urge a developer to change the links
back to the standard wikimedia navigation bar, but at least somehow add he
"Community portal". Thank you!

You can change it through the MediaWiki: namespace or get a es.wikibooks admin
to do it for you, this is not the right place for such a request. Marking this
as INVALID.
