Description:
Hallo!
<inputbox> is a great achivement.
a) However it might be usefull to provide the ability to *insert predefined
titles* (for the articles to be created. Each wiki could decide (on each
occurence) if it would start with sandbox, a timestamp or what prefix / sufix
would be best related to the location of <inputbox> on a particular page.
Practice will show how usefull this would be.
b) Another issue I am not aware is if there is an alternative to place the
"header" *between* the input box and the button and
c) to have *another button label* then the one specified in
[[MediaWiki:Createarticle]].
Why to ask for this enhancement:
Wiki software should be intuitive and flexible without many "you just have to
know" - "you need to follow the procedure step by step". Do not believe that all
visitors read every bit of a page. At the beginning I pressed the button myself
*without* inserintg any title leading to edit (the protected) [[Main Page]]. I
assume that these additions would help to avoid similar situations.
Thanks in advance! Best regards [[user:gangleri]]
P.S. I am not quite shure if <inputbox> is an extension of not. If so please
change the Product: to MediaWiki extensions , if necessary create one.
