Description:

clean installation of mediawiki-1.6.6 on local EasyPHP apache/php setup
changing sysop's email address on Preferences page
message: "A confirmation e-mail has been sent to the nominated e-mail address"
... but no mail arrives
instead apache log shows this: [Thu May 25 10:09:36 2006] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] Filename is not valid:

w:/web/special:preferences

I have been looking through the code but I haven't found where the actual action
takes place that requests a new page. If someone would help me a little here,
I'd be happy to dig into it.
