Description:
Internationalization of parser functions is not really necessary - they should
be considered part of wiki syntax, and they are for advanced users anyway.
In addition to that, it causes problems - if functions have different names in
different languages, and even fall back to English for some extra uncertainty,
maintaining a sane collection of parser functin extensions becomes a nightmare.
At least the current implementation also makes extensions more difficult to
write and read.
What's even worse, having different names for parser functions for different
languages makes moving templates from one language to another an even more
complex task than it already is. And if a website really needs it, it can simply
make wrapper templates for the purpose, thus getting localized parser functions
without breaking the builtin ones. ~~~~
