when using
ApacheFriends XAMPP (basic package) version 1.5.2 (http://www.apachefriends.de/)
having Apache2, MySQL 5 and PHP 5
mediawiki 1.6.x and 1.7.x is fine to install but if you want to login your session gets lost when
returning to Mainpage or any other Page.

My PHP seems to be configured right
phpinfo() says i have a session (3 Strings)
and in DRIVE:\xampp\tmp is a file named "sess_(the same session string)"

I tried to install wiki (*) with http://localhost/subfolder/*
and vhost http://subfolder.localhost/*

Maybe someone knows how this session stuff works and how i may can test it on my box?
