Category sort key treats parameter as literal
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

Author: morten

Description:
When a template is used for category insertion, and used with a variable for the category
sort key, (such as {{templatename|sortkey}}, with template text being
[[Category:name|sortkey]]) - the template messes up the sort key of the category, listing
pages below "{" instead of the beginning letters. This occurs both with using ordinary
text as sortkey, as well as variables such as {{PAGENAME}}.

of course.

Confirmed on test-wiki: http://test.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:6821_test. Note
that category display on the page itself is also buggy, see [[Test:6821]] (if
that works).

This seems to be working fine, now. See
http://test.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:6821_test.
Probably has been fixed by someone in the meantime.
