{{R}} does not render, no matter what content is within [[Template:R]]. I cannot find any default
variable that would conflict with a template of that name. If I use a lowercase "{{r}}", the template
works. I've tried several other single-letter template names and no others had a problem.

I think this was a recent change, something definitely within the last 6 months, as I previously did
have a template that worked.
