bugzilla should warn not to reply to its email
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

Got a big problem with the mail the bugtracker sends.
It makes it look like one can just hit "r" to reply here in gnus or
other mailers, only to get

host mail-eater.wikimedia.org [66.230.200.215]:
550 <bugzilla-daemon@mail.wikimedia.org>: Recipient address rejected:
User unknown in relay recipient table

OK, but the mail should warn not to reply. Or say From: dont-reply@...

With my weekly batched connection, it would be nice to be able to
reply by email. (Congratulations to you who seem to reply in seconds
to my stored up for a week batched hardwired HTML <Form> submissions .)

reply-to is currently set to Wikitech-l. You can post there if you're
subscribed to it, at least . . .

We *want* users to be able to discuss bugs in length (when there are larger
implications or the implementation needs discussing) on wikitech-l.
