I think this might be a duplicate

Currently in wikicode it's possible to apply a CSS style to an entire row of
cells in a table by using |- style="...;" -- is there any chance something
similar could be implemented for entire columns...? Would certainly remove
redundancy from tables such as that here:
[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_Bahr_al_Ahmar_%28Red_Sea%29_Governorate]
