Right now there are a number of pages on mw.org which are manually synchronized with info from source code. The idea of this task is to right bots that automate this process * The infoboxes on Extension pages (E.g. The box on the right at https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:CategoryTree ). Right now we already have https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Module:ExtensionJson and need to update Template:Extension to use the info from the module if none specified * The infobox on the config variable manual pages (e.g. https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:$wgTransactionalTimeLimit ). The type of the variable, The version introduced (@since) and the brief description, can all probably be taken from includes/DefaultSettings.php * The manual:Hooks subpages (e.g. https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Hooks/userCan ) Anything else people think of.
