For the second time, Wikimedia took part in the annual Google Code-in contest sponsored and run by Google.
<a href="https://www.google-melange.com/gci/homepage/google/gci2014">Google Code-in</a> is aan annual contest to introduce pre-universityfor 13 and 17 year old students between 13 and 17 years. They get introduced to contributions which make free and open source software (FOSS) development happen.
For the second time in December 2014 and January 2015, 12 mentoring FOSS organizations (Wikimedia being among them)Wikimedia was one of the 12 mentoring organizations which provided tasks that students could choose to work on. Students who complete tasks received a certificate and a t-shirt from Google.
