Change Details

There appears to be a technical problem with the file mover/rename tool on Commons. When renaming files, it has begun to change the last letter of the new file name from upper case to lower case without the intention of the user performing the task. For example, `New Zealand road sign W1-1.4a` was suppposed to be renamed with the final letter A at the end as a capital, but the tool changed it to lower case. It has done this with one other file that I renamed, and several others where I began the rename process but did not proceed because of this problem. To re-produce: *Go to Commons *Select a file (the file I listed may be the best choice as it still needs to be corrected because it is part of a series and their names should be consistent) *Attempt to rename the file so that the final letter A is capitalised This may require a technical expert with file mover/administrator rights.
