To give power contributors as well readers the ability to easily participate in discussions. Not knowing wikisource won’t be a hindrance in adding a new topic.

**Access**
Contributors add a new topic by tapping on the ‘+’ icon in the tab bar. Tapping on ‘+’ triggers a new modal where they can type the topic title and description.
**Publishing a new topic**
* The ‘Publish’ button stays deactivated until the contributor types something in the ‘Description’ field, they cannot publish just a title.
* Any contributor logged in or logged out can add a new topic.
* When a contributor is logged out and chooses to publish a new topic an alert appears that notifies them that they are not logged in.
* Copy: ‘You are not logged in’
* Next: Illustration
* Next: ‘You IP address will be publicly visible if you make any edits. If you log in or create an account, your edits will be attributed to your username, along with other benefits.’
* Next: Button ‘Edit without logging in’
* Next: Button ‘Log in’
* Next: Button ‘Sign up’
* Once published the topic and a snack bar will appear on the page.
* Snack bar copy: icon - filled check mark
* Next: ‘Your topic was added’
* The new topic will appear at the top of the page uncollapsed.
**Deleting/cancelling a topic**
* The topic modal can be closed by tapping on the ‘x’ icon or by swiping the card all the way down.
* If there is no text the card closes automatically
* If there is a text in the card, closing it will trigger an action sheet.

* Copy: ’Are you sure you want to discard this new reply?’
* Next: Button ‘Discard Reply’
* Next: Button ‘Keep editing’
**User education**
* A user education modal is triggered when a contributor taps either on the ‘+’ icon to add a new topic or 'Reply' (when adding a new comment) for the first time.

* After contributor taps on the ‘OK’ on the modal, they will be taken to the new topic modal.
