Change Details

I wish, I wish, a feature request… I use WikitextEditor (WE) a lot, but sometimes (quite often) I have to turn it off while editing templates. The reason is that I want to test-drive changes to the template, and I can't do that in WE. To be able to switch between WE and VisualEditor while editing an article is absolute awsome, so I switch back as soon as possible. So, what about using the CodeEditor for template editing? It is closer to how I actually edit the templates, and the necessary extra fields will not be a problem? Only problem I see is the pesky tiny window…
