Pending the results of the consultation described in T191583, release mapframe to all NON-Flagged Revs wikipedia (and a few who do have Flagged Revs). =Who WILL get mapframe? - All Wikipedias who do NOT use Flagged Revisions. - The small set of Wikipedias which have Flagged Revs, but which have [[ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Flagged_revisions#Projects_that_apply_FlaggedRevs | implemented it using the so-called "English approach" ]] The English approach" means that on these wikis, an admin must apply Flaggged Revs selectively to individual pages. Some wikis that use this approach already have mapframe, and are using it: ru—Russian, mk-Macedonian, zh—Classical Chinese, fi—Finnish. These wikis will be unaffected. One style ( $wgFlaggedRevsOverride = false) still shows users the most recent edit; this does not cause problems. The other style, best known for being the style used on German Wikipedia, hides the latest version of an article until the edit has been reviewed and approved ( $wgFlaggedRevsOverride = true).
