After donating, users can (depending on the payment type they used) leave a comment that may or may not be publicly visible. The current design breaks the user flow that is currently in place. The users can only decide between leaving a donation comment *or* becoming a member. To resolve this, we should - embed the donation comment form into the donation confirmation page - slightly change the layout to have all fields laid out vertically - do the backend communication completely on the client-side - replace the form with a confirmation message after successfully submitting the form This way, the option to apply for a membership is always visible.
