As a reader who reads content from wikipedia to understand and further explore topics that are in the news, I want to be able to access community selected items from the Current Events portal, similar to what I get on the Main page of en.wikipedia.org. In addition to seeing these in my Explore feed I also want to be able to check them from my lock screen via an iOS extension. Sometimes I'd also like to get a notification when an article related to a current event is trending among editors and/or readers.
