**Project Name:** FoundationMemory **Wikitech Usernames of requestors:** varnent **Purpose:** Setup a wiki (using Wikidata setup) to track items and data specific to Foundation knowledge and history. **Brief description:** Communications Department has begun a new initiative to document Foundation's history. As much as possible, we will be using [[ https://foundation.wikimedia.org/wiki/Memory:Main | Governance Wiki ]], Office Wiki, and Wikidata to track this data. However, there is a desire to track some data - such as whereabouts of historical artifacts belonging to the organization (past awards, old posters, etc.), and other data which is really more relevant to the Foundation and not within the scope of Wikidata. Rather than utilize a third-party asset/history tracking service - utilizing our own software and framework of Wikidata to achieve this need is what we would like to first attempt. **How soon you are hoping this can be fulfilled:** No specific timeline - project is relatively new - so just beginning to build out infrastructure.
