Once the synonyms patch is deployed to production I think we ought to:
* modify [[ https://github.com/cormacparle/media-search-signal-test/blob/master/jobs/AnalyzeResults.php | AnalyzeResults.php ]] so that it gathers response times from api calls
* run [[ https://github.com/cormacparle/media-search-signal-test/blob/master/jobs/AnalyzeResults.php | AnalyzeResults.php ]] with the patch turned on and off, and paste the results in a comment - also gather data for response times when the patch is on/off and paste here (e.g. median response time, average response time of slowest 10% of calls, average response time of fastest 10% of calls)
* do a bunch of searches with synonyms on (see T258053 for some of the synonyms used during development), gather good/bad/indifferent matches and [[ https://media-search-signal-test.toolforge.org/bulk.html | add them to the labeled data we already have ]] with the tag "synonyms"
* run [[ https://github.com/cormacparle/media-search-signal-test/blob/master/jobs/AnalyzeResults.php | AnalyzeResults.php ]] with the patch turned on and off **just on the data tagged with "synonyms"**, and paste the results in a comment
