i don't know if there is anything we can do to work around this, but there is an issue with Chrome Version: 40.0.2214.94 on mac osx (at least) that causes item pages not to load. this especially happens to me for items about US presidents.
I reported this as a chromium bug, which they confirm. the chromium people tell me it's an issue with harfbuzz (used for rtl and maybe more... for rendering / smoothing / connecting letters)
I have narrowed the issue down to the dvwiki link / font.
https://test.wikidata.org/wiki/Q983 (partial copy of https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q91).
in chrome, if i try to copy / add the "dvwiki" site link (which doesn't render in proper font in firefox for me), then the page crashes.
if i remove the dvwiki link (please revert yourself if you try) from https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q91, then i can load the page. revert/readd and it crashes.
for Q60, removing the arcwiki allows the page to load.
I have absolutely no idea if/what we could do to work around the issue. (and seems it's just me reporting the issue, but it can't possibly be just me...)
