Due to the different project paths (RESTBase Sunsetting, Parsoid Read Views), right now, we have two different code paths for generating HTML for read views and edit views. The read views code path is currently not deployed and used and will initially only be used for testing. Read views use on wikis needs to be blocked on ensuring that the ParserCache entries are shared between read and edit views to avoid unnecessary cache fragmentation.
